EW Names Taylor Swift Entertainer Of The Year
Add another honor to Taylor Swift's amazing career as Entertainment Weekly has named her their 2010 Entertainer of the Year. In 2010 she appeared in the hit film, "Valentine's Day," headlined a sold-out tour, released her third studio album, "Speak Now," which went platinum in its first week and also scored four Grammy Awards.
Taylor is known for writing songs about her life and her fans have a fun time trying to decipher just who, or what, each of her songs are about. Swift keeps the mystery alive by not talking about her personal life in interviews, leaving her fans guessing.
"Sometimes I would laugh because I would see it in print and it would say, 'This song, which is written about her ex, so-and-so...' Taylor states in the EW cover story. "And they would write about it as if it was fact. The fact is, I haven't ever confirmed that any song is about any particular person. There's something kind of freeing about that. As far as I'm concerned, it's all still up in the air."
Taylor is currently preparing for her 2011 World Tour which begins on February 9th in Singapore. Yes, Singapore.
