Benefit Concert for Toys for Tots Sponsored By Country Music Cares
Thanksgiving is right around the corner but it’s already beginning to look a lot like Christmas in many ways. Country Music Cares (www.countrymusiccares.net) has recently announced that they’re sponsoring a benefit concert in support of the Nashville area Toys For Tots organization on Tuesday, December 14th at 7pm at Mercy Lounge (Doors 6:30). The artists scheduled to take part in this acoustic event include Mallary Hope, Sarah Darling, the Carter Twins and Jordyn Shellhart.
This event will be in conjunction with Christmas Kids, another worthy Country Music Cares cause. Attendees will also have an opportunity to win autographed items through a raffle at the show.
Tickets CANNOT be purchased for this event. Instead, anyone that wishes to attend is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy (valued at $10 and up) with them to be allowed to enter. All toys collected will be given to a Toys For Tots representative at the end of the night. For those unable to attend or not living in the Nashville area there will be an auction featuring autographed items as well as a fundraiser via Twitter, known as 10 Until 10. if you’d like to participate that way. Additional information about both of those will be available in the near future so be sure and check out the links above often if interested.
