Garth Brooks' "Unanswered Prayers" TV Movie On Lifetime November 29th
It seems that all of a sudden Garth Brooks is everywhere again. Country fans surely remember Garth's hit song "Unanswered Prayers," which spent two weeks at number one on the charts back in 1990. Now, the song Garth co-wrote with Pat Alger and Larry Bastian, has inspired a made-for-television movie which will make its premier on the Lifetime network on Monday, November 29th.
Garth and Lisa Sanderson produced the film for their own company, Red Strokes Productions. The movie was filmed in Virginia and tells the story of a happily married father whose life changes when the girl of his dreams from high school returns to town.
The film stars Eric Close, Samantha Mathis and Madchen Amick. Country fans may remember Samantha from her role in the movie "The Thing Called Love," where she played Miranda Presley. A great movie, also starring the late River Phoenix, that all country fans should see!
