Sugarland Set To Perform on CNN Heroes
I like when celebrities actually use Twitter to share what's going on in their careers and upcoming events. Sugarland recently tweeted about an upcoming performance, and since it was news a few months ago I'd forgotten about it.

Thanksgiving night CNN will be honoring everyday people who are changing the world. Sugarland will perform "Stand Up," a song from their just released album The Incredible Machine. Other performers scheduled to participate include Kid Rock, Demi Moore, Renee Zellweger, Keifer Sutherland, Gerard Butler, LL Cool J, John Legend, Jessica Alba, Bon Jovi, Halle Berry, Aaron Eckhart, Holly Robinson Peete, and Marisa Tomei.
Kid Rock And Jamey Johnson To Hit The Road Together In 2011
In what promises to be an awesome night of music and fun, Kid Rock will be hitting the road in 2011 with Jamey Johnson as his opening act. Rock released his new album, a much more country sounding disc than he's ever released before titled Born Free, this week. It is no doubt an interesting move for an artist that has moved from rap to rock and now towards country.
The tour will kickoff with a 40th birthday bash that Kid is throwing for himself at Detroit's Ford Field with 60,000 of his closest friends. The show will include special guests and will have the venue renamed "40 Field" for the night. Tickets for the Detroit show will go on sale on November 26th.
Taylor Swift and Kid Rock Join American Music Awards Lineup
Taylor Swift and Kid Rock, both off performances at the 44th Annual CMA Awards, will both be performing on the upcoming American Music Awards. The show will air on Sunday, November 21st on ABC.
Taylor Swift is up for Favorite Country Music Female Artist along with Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood.
The other country music awards on the show include Favorite Country Music Male Artist which has nominees of Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Brad Paisley. Favorite Country Music Band, Duo or Group which has nominees of Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum and Rascal Flatts. Favorite Country Music Album which has nominees of Jason Aldean's Wide Open, Lady Antebellum's Need You Now and Carrie Underwood's Play On.
Kid Rock will be releasing his new album, Born Free, on Tuesday, November 16th.
